Try it yourself: Make a home fire-escape plan
- With an adult, draw a plan of your home and mark every door and window.
- Find two ways out of every room.
- Choose a safe meeting place outside, like a neighbour's gate.
- Talk it through together so everyone knows the plan.
- Remember the rule: if there is a fire, get out, stay out, and call the emergency number from outside. Never go back in for anything.
