Try it yourself: Write an exit ticket
- Choose one small thing to teach, like a card trick or how to fold a paper hat. Write one goal: "By the end, you will be able to…".
- Before you teach, write an exit ticket: three short questions that show whether your learner reached the goal.
- Teach it, then hand over the exit ticket and let your learner answer on their own.
- Read the answers. Which question did they find hardest, and what would you teach differently next time?
Teachers often finish lessons with a quick exit ticket tied to the lesson goal, then use the answers to plan who needs extra help the next day.
